Under „Spirituality“ we offer German translations of hymns and prayers, also for use in personal prayer:

• Hymns and prayers used in the Eastern Orthodox Churches and Western Church
• Hymns and prayers of the Eastern Orthodox Churches as translated by monks of Niederaltaich and used in our church services
• Hymns and prayers from the Latin tradition

The introduction to the Prayer of the Heart (Jesus Prayer) is no substitute for the personal guidance of a spiritual director.

The Fathers of the Church set a standard as teachers and leaders of the ancient Church in close connection with the New Testament and the Apostles. They are our Fathers in the Faith and immediate witnesses of the normative tradition of the Faith, which formed the canon of the New Testament.

An archive of Russian and other musical compositions and pieces in German can be used by choirs.

And finally on the German pages there are also Seminars offered at the monastery (all in the German language).
