By car

Niederaltaich is situated on the Danube (the north bank), some 10 kilometers from Deggendorf, on the Autobahn A3, Exit 111 (Hengersberg-Niederaltaich). Turn left as you emerge from the exit, then turn right.

By train

IC-/EC Station is Plattling. From there you transfer to Deggendorf. From the station a bus or taxi will take you to Niederaltaich.

The nearest bus stop is “Anw Mäusl” Niederalteich (about 150 meters from the monastery). You can get information on the current schedule from the webpage of the Deutsche Bundesbahn by entering the name of the bus stop as your destination or point of departure.

Niederaltaich is about 123 kilometers from the Munich Franz-Josef-Strauss Airport.
